Dr. U. PALANI, 21 years of multi-disciplinarian professional with good experience as an Educator, Researcher, an Innovator, an Administrator, Facilitator, Mentor and Learner. His academic excellence started with Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Muthiah Polytechnic College, Chidambaram and graduated B.E., in Electronics and Communication Engineering from University of Madras. Then his specialization converged to M.E., in Applied Electronics from Kirubananda Vaariyar Engineering College, Salem and he was conferred Ph.D for his research in Wireless Sensor Network from Annamalai University, Chidambaram.

 He started his career as an Academician in 2001 and currently working as Professor in Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering at IFET College of Engineering, Villupuram. He is a Dale Carnegie, Mission10X Learning approach (MxLA) certified teacher.

 He is a Recognised Research Supervisor of Anna University, Chennai for guiding Ph.D. scholars and currently guiding 9 Ph.D. Scholars and one scholar was awarded Ph.D.

 He acquired an author metrics of i-index, h-index and more citations in the journal publications. He has 53 publications in reputed International Journals and 15 publications in International Conference Proceedings. He has published a technical book and two book chapters. He is an Elsevier and Springer journals certified Peer Reviewer. He is an active Life Member of professional societies like Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), IEEE, IAENG and CSI.
He has 4 Innovation Patents and received funding support of Rs. 10, 89,500/- from various Research Funding Agencies such as DRDO, MSME, CSIR, AICTE, Anna University and TNSCST.
